Privacy policy

The short version

The calculator is free and works without an account. Star counts you type are processed in your browser and never stored by us. If you search for a business, that search query is sent to our servers to fetch the business's publicly visible Google review data. We don't run advertising trackers. If you choose to give us your name and email, we use them only as described below, and you can opt out at any time.

What we process, and why

• Manual calculations. Review counts you enter by hand are calculated in your browser. They are not sent to or stored on our servers.
• Business searches. When you search a business name, the query is sent to our API, which fetches that business's publicly visible Google Business Profile data (name, address, rating, review counts) via a commercial data provider. Results are cached briefly on our infrastructure so repeat lookups are fast. Search queries are not linked to your identity.
• Contact details you submit. If you provide your name and email (for example, to auto-fill your business's data or request a review audit), we store them in our customer relationship management system and may email you about your review score and our review-management services. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all marketing email immediately.
• Hosting and security. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the site, as any web host does. We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal data — to anyone, ever.

How long we keep things

Cached business lookup data expires automatically within 24 hours. Contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK, Australia, and California), these rights are also guaranteed by law. We honour them regardless of where you live.
